In this trip you combine southern Italy, including Rome, Naples and the surrounding area, Paestum and the tip of the boot, with the largest island in the Mediterranean: Sicily. No island is as rich in ancient cultures as this sun-drenched volcanic island.

Many peoples have left their mark here. Their structures, mosaics, murals and gardens are unique in diversity and beauty. The landscape is very varied. From rolling, to mountainous culminating in the majestic Etna. The vegetation is rich. The incised coasts require quiet sandy and lava beaches.

In short: a fascinating and active journey!

"A good guide to route and sightseeing."

Willem J. van Dijk
