In this green and quiet site on the south-westcoast of Ireland, you can park your motorhome on the grounds of a charming B&B. You will be warmly welcomed by the owners, who are happy to help you with any questions and will even book a table for you in the local pub around the corner. The location is ideal for cyclists and hikers. From the motorhome site, you can drive to the Sheep's Head lighthouse or walk to the mysterious Ahakista Stone Circle. You have access to the B&B's toilet facilities and can optionally have breakfast. In the evening, you can enjoy the silence, stars and the gentle sounds of the bay.

This free motorhome siteis located right next to the ruins of Carrigafoyle Castle.Climb the 108 steps to the top for sweeping views over the bay — it only takes a few minutes. There are a few visitors during the day, but in the evening, peace returns. There are no facilities, but you'll enjoy a quiet night and a location you won't forget!

"Beautiful place to stay, with a view of the castle ruins; door to ruins opens during the day. A spiral staircase with 108 steps leads you to the top. At low tide, the church is “dry”, at high tide it is surrounded by the water. Across the bay are the ruins of a former church. Very quiet at night, but during the day some people stop by to have a look. No facilities. Beautiful place!!!" - abcbouma

The facilities are surprisingly extensive, and everything is based on a donation basis. There is a friendly, warm atmosphere. Nothing is compulsory, everything is allowed. A hidden gem for those seeking comfort and peace in the heart of Ireland.

"What a fantastic find, this campsite is truly beautiful, the facilities are just as good as any other campsite. The ground is flat and paved, surrounded by beautiful gardens with lawns, including a beautiful nature walk along the stream. The owners have even provided chairs to sit by the stream or chairs in a polytunnel shelter that was wonderfully warm. There is also a room with cooking facilities and a washing machine. This gem is located along the Causeway Coastal Route. From here, you have a panoramic view of Rathlin Island, the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede and, on a clear day, even Scotland. You stand on top of a cliff, surrounded by picnic tables and grassy hills that slope down to the sea. During the day, there are many visitors, but as soon as the sun sets, only silence remains. You sleep on a relatively flat part of the site, without facilities, but with an experience that makes up for everything. Don't forget your camera, because the sunrise here is unforgettable.

"It's no punishment to park your motorhome here for the night. Nicely maintained, clean grounds (including picnic tables and trash bins). Right at the top, there are indeed reasonably flat pirches.
